It depends. Some online schools have advisers (and sometimes, teams of advisers) on staff to help students find a job in their desired industry. They can help students best match up their skill sets to available careers, write recommendation letters, and help the student familiarize themselves with the interview process. Other schools may have a more limited amount of resources availability to them, so you will have to do your homework ahead of time.
