A person that works with a network system is typically referred to as an “analyst,” “engineer,” or “administrator” and his/her job entails many duties that cover managing, executing, designing, and analyzing network systems. If you’re interested in entering this profession, it’s always best to first take what is known as an “aptitude test” or “career assessment” to get a better idea of whether you’d be successful in it. Many businesses hire these engineers or analysts to design and set up network systems for their companies. For example, the engineer or analyst may install routers, modems, hubs and other devices to get a group of computer connected and running in a network system. They help keep the network system secure and safe through use of hardware and may return periodically to check on the safety and security of the network system.
