Prospective architects have three choices of professional degrees:
- 5-year bachelor’s degree for students with no architecture experience
- 2-year master’s degree for students with an undergraduate degree in architecture
- 3 or 4-year master’s degree for students with an undergraduate degree in another concentration
Before new architects can gain their licensure, they must complete a 3-year training period doing architectural work. Any internship experience can be applied toward this 3-year training requirement.
